Married over 30 years, animals have always played a huge role in our lives. Jolene was a board member for a Labrador Retriever rescue organization, which included conducting home visits to find forever homes for many dogs in need. Quite a few were fostered in our home, including two litters of puppies!
We love both rescues (including numerous cats!) and pedigreed dogs, each adding value in our lives. As a result of our experiences, we have championed responsible breeding and ownership.
We got our first corgi from Jolene's mom, who also raised them. We fell in love with Taly and the breed immediately. Corgis are loyal, loving, and with their perpetual smile, make any day a great day! Taly is our couch potato, but when she wants to play, she tells us by chomping her teeth and bark-talking to let us know she is ready to go! Taly has retired from our breeding program.

Black's Theodore Windsor
Teddy came along two years later with his infectious personality, zest for fun and the love of a good Frisbee toss. He is an AKC registered tri-colored Pembroke Welsh Corgi. We could sing Teddy's praises for days, and he has become our ambassador for all things corgi. He thoroughly enjoys meeting and greeting, to the point where I have to ask folks if they would please give Teddy some love...to say Ted is outgoing is an understatement!
We were so blessed to have Tevah join our family in December, 2020! She is an outstanding AKC registered tri-colored Pembroke Welsh Corgi who is friendly, gentle and loving. She is energetic, but not high strung. She loves to give hugs and enjoys cuddling on the couch. Tevah wants to play with every animal she greets and receive rubs from every human she meets.

Black's Dolly Singing Tippi Tin
We were beyond excited to have Tippi join our family in March, 2023. She is a beautiful AKC registered sable/red and white Pembroke Welsh Corgi who is very similar to Teddy in personality and temperament in that Tippi loves adventure, she is fun and wants to meet everyone! She is a cuddler with a lovely disposition and a bit of joyful corgi clown thrown in, too.
We understand the importance of raising happy and healthy corgis, matching them with the right families.
We would also encourage you to do your research on the corgi breed. https://www.akc.org/dog-breeds/pembroke-welsh-corgi/ is a good beginner's guide. https://www.dogbreedinfo.com/pembrokecorgi.htm is another good resource. There are great videos, too. Check out one of our favorite corgis, Topi, at https://www.topithecorgi.com/!
As an added bonus, we will donate 5% of your new puppy's proceeds to our favorite animal shelter, The Bedford County Humane Society, a no kill shelter.
To date, we have donated $2,185 to BCHS!
